Pipe bursting involves the technology of replacing the live pipeline with a new bigger diameter pipe without stopping the flow.

The Process:
The process uses a Bursting mole and a hydraulic winch. The process involves lowering of the winch rope from one manhole to the other and tying up with the bursting head of the mole. On the tail of the mole a new pipeline is attached.

The mole and the winch are operated simultaneously. Due to the percussive hammer action of the mole the existing pipeline is busted and the new pipeline carried on the tail of the mole is installed in its place.

Type of Installations:
Pipes: Suitable for Vitrified Clay and concrete pipes.
Diameter: Upto 12 inches.
